I’m Jimmy Feister — maker / wrench / camera guy. Most days you’ll find me in the garage with a diesel on stands, a daily Volvo that has to start every Monday, or an ESP32 board half-wired into Home Assistant like it pays rent.
The channel and this site are the same project: document what I’m actually building. Not polished “day in the life” fluff — teardown photos, wrong turns, part numbers, VLAN regrets, and the moment something finally clicks (or hydrolocks).

Why the site exists
YouTube cuts for watch time. This place keeps the rest: long notes, build logs, and links so if you saw a clip and wondered “wait, what oil did he use?” or “which UniFi camera?” you can find it without scrubbing a 25-minute video.
